So I've been messing around with settings trying to find a happy spot. Something that gets a decent frame rate for groups (and maybe a different one for raids).
Also is good for harvesting (longer range viewable?) I get something like 45-50 in PoM 30ish in Groups (until we pull all the mobs on a side like in Innovation, then I get maybe 10).
The machine is a tad older (esp the video card) so trying to make it look as nice a possible, but performance is must :-P
Just wondered if anyone had tips or settings to share that I could copy and try :-)

I always play all my games on medium setting for maximum game playability. SWTOR, EQ2, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, etc. I keep shading down low, don't really need shadows slowing me down but leave water reflections and action turned to max because it is so pleasant to come across a cool pond or stream after heavy action gaming. Just strip down and dive in for cooling refreshment - then back to hot mob pursuit again! Sometimes I turn the scenery down a tad as well especially if the trees are two wavy in the wind and suck frame rates.
