I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong :) Majissa / Maji

Since I had a bit of extra time after raid today I took a quick look at the raid parse and noticed that wherever I had a critical hit there was zero bleed through on Wards (playing Majissa - defiler). This may be a significant means of lessening bleedthrough damage for all priest classes. I'll take another look at the log files when I get home tonight. I don't have access to them at work. Clint if you get the chance can you check that out for us druids? Pretty please with a cherry on top : )

Supposedly the big Defiler bleadthrough is the result of a buff causing damage rather than healing it...
I'll see if I can check my Druid logs....

Logs showed fairly high bleedthrough, around 80%. Though, single hits that exceed the total/remaining ward are counted as bleed through even though it really isn't.

Thanks for posting this Clint, I have a better idea of where your thoughts are coming from. If asked to betray to Mystic for raiding I would, but until we reach the higher raid tiers I feel my defiler healing is still good. And who knows this weird issue may be fixed by then. The part where it talks about raiding with only 4 healers is interesting and would love to know the different group make ups for doing this.

I doubt anyone would need to betray. I think it is just interesting that there is something weird going on with the numbers.
I am accountant (even worse, an auditor) and love figuring out the mystery. 😉
